One Voice is committed to advancing public confidence and support for the nonprofit sector by exemplifying ethical practices, accountability and the highest standards of quality service. In 2008, One Voice approved a Nonprofit Accountability Policy, encouraging members to commit to accountability standards. Beginning this year, One Voice members will agree to undergo an annual organizational self assessment and submit a copy of the self-assessment tool to One Voice that they have done so. The information will be compiled and used to educate funders and policy makers about the administrative and infrastructure needs of nonprofits and to advocate for necessary resources. Individual agency information will be kept confidential.
